I’m honestly at a loss as to the origin of these incessant grease stains, but it’s almost as if they’ve waged a war against every shirt in my husband’s wardrobe! A friend of my mother suggested using Dawn Platinum Erasing Dish Foam as a solution to our grease stain problem. Primarily designed to clean dishes by soaking up grease, she mentioned that it worked wonders on laundry as well. Intrigued and desperate, my mom gave it a shot and confirmed its effectiveness. Taking their word, I decided to give it a go as well. Initially, I purchased it from Target a couple of times, but its availability was somewhat unpredictable. Therefore, I’ve decided to switch to Amazon to purchase the refill bottles in the future.
The unique feature of this soap is its foamy consistency upon pumping, and a small dollop goes quite a distance. Simply apply a small amount directly onto each grease stain.
Rub the dish soap into the fabric using your fingers, ensuring the whole stained region is coated.
