Ingredients:
For the Cake:
- ½ cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1½ cups milk
For the Topping:
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp flour
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 5 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the cake until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the topping until well combined.
- Spread the topping evenly over the batter and swirl it with a knife.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the cake is done, remove it from the oven and drizzle the glaze over the warm cake.
- Allow the glaze to set before serving.
- Serve the coffee cake warm or at room temperature for a delightful treat.
