Today, I am thrilled to share with you one of my favorite morning rituals: a delightful oatmeal bake recipe. With a harmonious blend of wholesome ingredients, this dish promises both flavor and simplicity. Here’s how to recreate it in your kitchen:
Ingredients:
- 150g oat flakes
- 200ml milk
- 3 apples (500g), finely grated
- 60g sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 5-7 drops vanilla flavoring
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 40g cranberries
- 30g coconut flakes
- 50g raisins
- 50g walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the milk and oat flakes. Allow them to rest for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, grate the apples and add them to the oat mixture.
- Stir in the sugar, cinnamon powder, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Crack the eggs into the mixture after rinsing them, ensuring they are at room temperature.
- Add the vegetable oil, vanilla flavoring, baking powder, cranberries, coconut flakes, raisins, and walnuts. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake for approximately 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bake is cooked through.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing.
